Riverstone Productions was started in 2003 by Jennifer Schimmelpfennig
with the original intention of creating custom memorial folders.
After two years, however, it was apparent that, |

while
the products produced by Riverstone Productions were vastly
superior in both look and feel, the funeral industry simply
wasn't interested in making such products available to their
clients. |

|
|
The decision was made to change the direction of the business
once it was clear that creating custom memorial folders was
no longer a viable business option, but the question was in
which direction the business should be sent. "I had loved creating
custom memorial folders because it had allowed me to combine
my love of technology with my love of photography, so when it
came time to change the nature of my business I decided that
the best thing to do was to once again go with those strengths". |

In the end, the decision was made to enter into the field of
web design because of Jennifer's background; she had grown up
with her father working in the computer industry, and as such
she had a unique relationship with the digital world. "I'd been
designing for the web since I was in High School, but it hadn't
really occurred to me to market my web design skills until it
came time for me to re-evaluate my business situation." |

Gifted with both the ability to understand how a web site should
be structured, and the innate talent to create a visually pleasing
design, Jennifer realized that she was uniquely capable of delicately
juggling both the technical and visual standpoints of the digital
world. Hence, a new incarnation of Riverstone Productions was
born. |

Riverstone Productions is located in Sandy, Utah, and has been
created primarily to serve businesses up and down the Wasatch
