It's never been easy for either Amy or Dave to ask for help, or to accept that there are other people out there who would want to help them. Yet, when most of us see a couple who has been through so much, it's difficult for us to not want to help them out where and when we can. |

Right now Amy needs to be at home with Dave as he continues to recover from his car accident, which means that she can't go out and get a "regular" job. However, this situation means that they don't have any money coming in, apart from the small donations given to them on occasion by the kindness of friends. Amy's solution to this dilemma has been to put some of her talents to work; in this case making delicious sugar cookies! For Amy, making these cookies allows her to stay at home with Dave full-time, while still having a way to bring in some money; its a solution that gives them the best possible chance to make their goal a reality. |
